There were ups & downs in my past week.. The good thing is that it ended up quite well :) The more you want to be disillusioned and detached from something & someone, The deeper you fall into it.. The more you believe in it.. Perhaps what I need is not to think too much.. & believe in myself and the pple that I trust in.. it was not that bottle of drink that cooled me down.. it was more of the thought behind it that suppressed my wrath.. ok enough of the downs.. let's go to the ups!
The world's local bank believes in work life balance.. Hence I got to enjoy a special 2 hrs off last week.. Suddenly I just got the urge to go cycling in east coast.. The last time I went down was last Nov when I took my core leave.. I miss the sea breeze.. I miss the beaches.. I miss the carefree tinge in the air.. I miss the days whereby I will cycle aimlessly from one end to another in my schooling days.. pig wanted to make amends by accompanying me there.. think cycling has always been a very much a "loner" sport.. guess I was right cos it was pretty funny to see pig struggling to talk to me while cycling.. falling into drains and bushes at least 3 times haha.. for the first time, half way through the journey, I was feeling pretty tired.. must be either I have grown old within the past few months.. or I had to spend more energy laughing and toking hahaha.. I always thought that the sports that I knew of were quite idiot proof.. cos I am not a sports- inclined person.. however, I realised that there is still couple of pple who cant cycle or play badminton.. pig was one of them who cant do the balancing act well hehe..so amusing... we also went to explore the ski cable park that seem quite fun.. it's $32 per hour.. not too bad ya? just that I got this phobia of swimming in a pool that I can see no bed.. we ate at east coast's "newton" "chomp chomp" alike hawker centre.. the food was mediocre.. disappointing to eat a plate of tasteless char kway tiao.. the thing is that I also met Yunwei there!!! she din change much.. ops but becos I call for her name, she fell on her blades.. sorry senior! haha.. it's nice to see her again :) The two hours off were def well spent! I enjoyed myself :) but becos of this, the pig with a lion mouth wants a treat.. i decided to just cook a meal to feed pig's lion mouth!
On friday, it was my department's sports day! so shagged after my cycling.. my bottom still hurts haha.. we had captain ball's, basketball, street soccer... but i admit I only played captain ball for a while..haha cos I will only negate my team's performance and cause them to suffer penalties haha.. somemore looking at the guys playing soccer so violently.. I think my legs will be bruised if I join in.. So none of the girls did dare to join the guys..
