reflection for 2006 and the coming 2007!

i reali just winked my eyes and there goes my 2006 and my sweet 21 :( that's fast :) this year is somewhat special and fulfilling i have tried things that i have never tried in my past 20 years :0 i was thinking and thinking what i have achieved for the past year.. i didnt want to think but my sis reminded me to look ahead and reflect my past deeds.. haha@@

let me recap the things for i have done in 2006
1. i went for my internship at OCBC
2. i went for scary interviews at Goldman Sachs and JP morgan; i cracked under pressure :(
3. i performed pop singing at ntu cant a and @ Ai Qing Hai for the first time of my life :)
this would count as part of my childhood dreams fulfilled my good friens will rem how i used to sing beside her desk.. wenli and dear rem our sec days? huiboon too?
this is god-given chance and thanks to my dearie friens edwin and sufen who encouraged to sing live and gave me confidence and practices at my home with her voice and his guitar :0
4. due to the previous miracle encounter, i was persuaded to join the singing school to polish my speech, stage presence and singing skills.. i was amazed by my fantastic teacher yuxuan :0 she is reali nice, encouraging though most of time i cracked under pressure and expectations from her to perform at school's showcase... i managed to survive this far :)
i meet many composers and friens who love music and singing like me.. how i wish i can play the keyboard and guitar by a month's time.. :) thanks to joyce, yuxuan, edwin, melvin, huiqi and many more who enlighten me on many things in this short 6 months:)
i treasure this whole lot of experience :) but i just hope i did not disappoint any of ur for not joining any competition.. i am just not prepared to give my hobby- singing a new identity as a pressuring skill and not something innocent and simple that i used to enjoy in my free time....
still thinking singing/ music a hobby/ my interest or a future career..this make me hestiate to look for jobs in the finance sometimes i just feel i want to be just a simple girl that sings on and on and bring joy, peace and laughter to all.. noticed that i lost my cheerfulness in the past 6 months stressed...
5. busy with FYP.. it's FYP and FYP and FYP...still in the process of rushing this out.. hope god bless me :)
6. i extracted my wisdom tooth who is giving me pain throughout caroling and singing :) brand new days ahead and brand new mouth it just feels different ha! :P pain though but dun worry i am wonder woman guilepig haha@@
7. for the first time of my life, i grew long hair i went for rebonding OMG!!! no one believes that a fanatic short hair girl went for that i myself did not believe all comes as an on-the spot decision in july :) had a mixture of opinions from my friens :) but i just wanted to look different and feel different as i get older :) nevertheless, i miss my short hair ha so carefree and so cooling ha! :P
8. Alumni choir kick off successfully with a roar i would think.. phew our seniors' effort did not go to waste in the past still rem the ajc alumni dinner, past VCH concerts.. so my dear friens sorry for being so busy cos i reali wonder woman recently.. it's FYP, choir practices, tuition, singing lessons.. wonder woman can fly haha@@ i cant reject any of them cos i only live my life once and i dun want to disappoint anyone who have expectations on me . :) sometimes living for others may make me feel that i am still alive and breathing the air around me :)

9. i also learnt the biggest lesson of my life in beginning of 2006.. dun take things for granted and never be so naive in assuming things.... reali i think like what i told all of ur my prince charming fell down the horse and never comes again haha@@ i will not cry for such people cos he is so not worth it.. maybe is my fault afterall.. :(
